We have booked the swimming pool at Portobello High school (map) for winter sessions to learn rolling and other skills in a warm environment.

There will be 5 sessions of 30 minutes every Friday, with 4 coached boats each session and 2 uncoached boats. Please note that as a volunteer club coaching can never be guaranteed, but we have a good track record of covering all the slots.

If you succeeded in rolling last year do consider coaching this year.

The cost is £40 for the term payable in advance. Payment options:

Helping out

We need coaches. You don't have to be qualified, but it really helps if you have experience of rolling and support strokes. You don't have to commit to come every week. Please contact philip @ limekilns.plus.com with dates/times you are available.

First time at the pool?

Note that the venue is a pool in the High School NOT the public pool. Access last year (we assume it'll be the same) is from Duddingston Rd (marked as Brighton Place on the map), down a small lane at the left side of the school buildings, and around to the back of the school.
