Kayak and Canadian Canoeing in Edinburgh
Forth Canoe Club is a volunteer run club for canoeing in Edinburgh. We are Scotland's oldest existing canoe club and are based on the Union Canal in the city centre. Our club includes everyone from world champion athletes to recreational day trippers, paddling kayak and canadian canoes of all styles. See the activities we do at Forth.
Non-paddlers welcome to try on these Thursday club nights. May be limited to 30 minute session. Bring full change of clothes, towel, suitable shoes.

In a nail biting finale Forth's Second polo team can from third place to win a selection of trophies at the Div 4 tournament. Promotion awaits for next season. Hopefully Forth's First team can do a similar achievement in the Div 2 competitions in May.
In a polo packed weekend we also had fun at Stirling University's P in the Loch competition, sadly not keeping hold of the winning shield from last year but enjoying some triumphant victories and noble defeats while we tried.
Thursday club nights are back, starting on April 3rd with an opening barbeque and boathouse sweep out. All canoeists are welcome on Thursday nights.
We are also hosting beginners 1 star and 2 star courses again, see the club nights page for details of how to book on.
We will be running open nights for non-paddlers to come and try on Thursdays too, dates announced soon.
